wean your boob-obsessed toddler while feeling more connected than ever
You’re tired, overstimulated, your back hurts, and you know you need to start the weaning process to get back to feeling like you, but you don’t know where to start.
It feels so overwhelming to think about losing the one tool you know makes life easier.
You’re worried about holding boundaries and supporting the big feelings that come with weaning.
You’re afraid that weaning will affect your child’s attachment to you.
Your nervous system is already on fire at just the thought of listening to your child scream and cry while you hold your nursing boundaries.
This leaves you at a crossroads: Do you keep pushing through, even though you’re getting overstimulated, experiencing middle-of-the-night rage, and almost snapping at your toddler, or, do you move forward with weaning even though you don’t know where to start and just the thought of it fills you with anxiety and fear?
Or, what if we told you those aren’t your only two options?

what if we told you that it’s possible to wean your child with confidence, while actually strengthening your connection in the process?
Introducing…
How to Wean While Supporting Attachment
A 90 minute live workshop + Q&A + workbook for parents who want to confidently wean their boob-obsessed toddlers while supporting their attachment relationship.
What will you learn?
We’re going to cover everything you need to have a strong foundation to support your child through the weaning process.
You’ll get the actual how-to when it comes to weaning, including what you should do before you start, how you keep the process moving from one day, to the next, and how you can manage any speed bumps or challenges that come up along the way.
You’re going to learn about your child’s development and temperament so you can have a deep understanding of their emotional needs and responses to this transition.
You’ll learn how to self-regulate (an invaluable skill you will need in this process, and beyond), and how to co-regulate with your child using tools other than nursing.
You’ll learn how to attune to your child and support their emotions in way that makes them feel seen, heard, and understood, while learning how to set and hold nursing boundaries.
You’ll learn what you need to know if you’re weaning while pregnant, and how you can manage the dynamic between siblings when you are weaning one child and preparing to nurse a new baby.
You’ll get a workbook with activities and tools to support your weaning journey, plus reminders of important information from the workshop.
Plus you’ll get a book list vetted by us that will help support your child in understanding what to expect!

Have we met yet?
I’m Michelle, the founder of Babies and Brains.
I’m a birth to five mental health specialist that supports parents in nurturing their child’s attachment relationship. I’m a mom to a 2.5 year old who is currently still nursing, although we are planting seeds for the weaning process in the near future.
It is my mission to take my experience and knowledge in birth to five mental health and make it accessible to families around the globe. There are enough confusing myths floating around online, among family members, friends, etc, that only add more anxiety to parenting. I am here to help parents build a confidence that they can access within through a relaxed and relatable approach.
I don’t see myself as the expert. The only expert on your child is you. I’m not here to teach you THE way. I’m here to help you find your way.
I’m Candace, the founder of Your Weaning Pal.
I’m a public health professional (MPH), pediatric sleep specialist, & Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC, #34044) — but most importantly, I am a mom of one weanling! I hold a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health & worked as an Epidemiologist for 5.5 years in a rural hospital setting. After becoming a mom (& having the most tumultuous start to breastfeeding my baby), I realized that there are many gaps in parenting education & practice. Now, I provide evidence-informed guidance & support to parents in order to feel confident at the end of their breastfeeding journey!
We’re teaming up to provide you an attachment-focused weaning approach that gives you the how-tos and the confidence to support your child’s emotional and relational needs throughout the weaning process.
You don’t have to put this off any longer…
If you’re ready to ditch the anxiety and stress and get started on weaning your toddler while feeling deeply confident that you are meeting their attachment needs, take that first step and join us before doors close 12/15/2024.

We will always prioritize connecting with your child in their emotional experiences. *No sleep training-like methods here!
