The Toddler Tantrums
Are you ready to boost your confidence when it comes to responding to your toddler’s tantrums?
You want to connect, but the kicking, screaming, crying, thrashing, and whining make it SO. DANG. HARD.
You feel like you have more questions than answers.
Is this normal? Certainly all toddlers cannot be this angry…right?!
How can I support their emotions, but also set boundaries around their behavior?
How long do I really need to sit there? When, if ever, is it appropriate to distract them?
How do I respond if they hurt me or someone else?
How do I stay calm in the chaos? I’m losing it myself!
My family said I should just ignore their tantrums or else I am making them worse. Is this true?
If you have had any of these questions, then you are in the right place!
You’re here because what you are doing doesn’t feel like it’s working, and you’re wondering, what does it look like when it “works” anyway?
Tantrums are likely a part of your daily life if you are the parent of a toddler, but, despite their frequency, they don’t seem to get any easier to deal with.
You may find yourself overwhelmed in the midst of your child’s tantrums. The chaos, the overstimulation, the nonsensical nature of them. You know you’re supposed to support your child in these moments, but you also feel as if you are on the brink of dysregulation yourself. How are you supposed to give your child calm if you don’t even have it?
On top of that, you may also struggle with your own childhood experiences, generational messaging, and comments from family members and friends that tell you to “just ignore them,” and that any response at all is just encouraging the tantrums more. You’re left unsure if your response is helping, or making it worse.
You find yourself questioning things like the words you use, whether or not you should use physical touch and affection, and wondering why your child seems to escalate more when you intervene? On top of that, you wonder why it seems that the most challenging behavior always seems to happen with you?
Or, maybe you don’t have a toddler quite yet, but you want to be prepared for the inevitable tantrums that come with this stage.
Whether you’re in it now, or you’ll be in it later…
Let’s be real…
The 1-2-3 step tantrum tips you see online don’t always work. It feels like there is something missing.
Do the people sharing these tips know your unique child, their preferences, temperament, sensitivities, and your attachment relationship? No.
The truth is: Nobody knows your child better than you. That’s why this course was designed to empower you with the tools you need to connect with your child where they are at so you can support them in the way that they need.
Instead of cookie-cutter tips that may fall short or not work at all, you will gain a strong foundation of understanding that you can build upon to fit your unique child, family culture, and relationships.
This foundation will stay with you as your child grows, even when they move past the toddler stage.
and I’m right in it with you. I get it.
My son is 2, which means he’s now a full-blown toddler; he is amazing in the way that he experiences all of his emotions intensely.
We laugh and celebrate hard, and we also feel disappointment and frustration deeply.
So when it comes to tantrums, I’m in the midst of this stage myself. I’m currently using the exact tools and insight that I’m soon going to share with you!
it is my goal that you walk away from this course feeling deeply confident, connected, and attuned when it comes to responding to your toddler in their challenging moments.

“The information I learned in the Toddler Tantrums Masterclass has helped me fully understand my children. Walking into this season of parenthood with confidence is priceless.”
-Rachel
“Having it all in one place, explained in language that tired parents can understand with the realistic examples it was so much easier to put the pieces together. I already see such a change. If anyone is still debating if it’s worth it, trust me, it’s worth more than that price tag.”
“The way [Michelle] presents information is so easy to understand and digest. I went through the material in almost a day because I couldn’t stop watching. [The] material allows parents to not feel alone in their parenting journey. This understanding is pivotal to nurturing the next generation.”

“Michelle puts out VERY valuable and interesting information at a fair price point. I probably wouldn’t have understood as much of what she taught if she didn’t make it so easy to understand! Also Michelle doesn’t just regurgitate or repeat information, it’s genuinely valuable and not something that I could find on my own.” —Jessica

While a toddler is technically a child between the ages 1-3, tantrums most frequently occur in children ages 1-4, so that was the intended age rage for this class. However, the information discussed really applies to all children. We cover the nervous system, behavior, dysregulation, temperament, etc. All of which don’t have an expiration date. So, I guess you could say it applies to all humans, but my specialty focus is on the 0-5 age range.
